The Queens Guard Alumni Association (“QGAA”) extends special appreciation and recognition of the following two alumni of The Queens Guard for their vision, creativity and dedication of countless hours to the research, design, compilation and preparation of our website: Claudio M. Burgos, RC ’89, dedicated the professional resources of VIDA Design & Advertising, LLC, (also known as, “VIDA”), as founder and president of the firm, towards the site’s technical and artistic design, as well as its ongoing administration. Claudio, as creative director, and Lukasz Karpuk, as his senior designer, implemented a progressive content management solution for The Queens Guard, which is often applied to sites for major corporations and educational institutions, in order to organize and to display a wide collection of data and images over more than 100 pages. Joseph A. Carlani, RC ’84, defined and selected the subject content for display throughout the site, as well as provided the research, compilation, and preparation of its written materials. Joseph serves as QGAA President, and has driven forward our alumni initiatives towards completion from the outset. Likewise, the QGAA thanks its many alumni who contributed photographic images, anecdotal details, factual clarifications and moral support towards the success of our website.
